Blackpool has a mix of the best traditional and modern theme park rides in the country along with a beautifully renovated promenade, the Blackpool Tower and of course the famous 'Illuminations' which take place every year from September to November. You can spend your stay on challenging adrenalin pumping rides or while away the hours in award winning gardens and parks.

 

Blackpool Tower was built in 1894, with its inspiration taken from the Eiffel Tower in Paris which was built only 5 years before.

Pleasure Beach was created in 1896, shortly after the tower was completed with the intention to create an American-style theme park in the UK.
